There is much we can be thankful for, much good we are doing, and also many pastoral realities requiring us to work together, combining our gifts, energies and generosity.
Our faith communities, agencies and services do so much in service of Jesus Christ and our neighbour. Our Diocesan Pastoral Plan, Faith in our Future, enables us a way to align our efforts and focus on key ways to engage with our families, youth, ethnic communities, clergy and laity in our evangelising efforts.
All our parishes, agencies, services and groups are invited to respond to the following questions:
- share up to three good news stories of how you have served Christ and one another in 2015,
- share up to three of the main challenges you are facing, and
- share up to three of your ideas, hopes and plans for 2016.
Such a report is not for the sake of our pastoral plan, but rather will offer a wonderful testimony to one another of the good we do in living out the mission God has entrusted to us. We intend to share the good news stories via Catholic Outlook and on our websites, and through whatever other means available. Along with our good news stories, the challenges and plans we share will help us better shape the support we offer to our communities, and to offer more helpful resources and renewed ways to connect each other so as to provide the help we need in cooperating with God’s reign.

The Pastoral Planning Office is happy to support you in completing your own feedback. Parishes and agencies who are accustomed to providing their own more detailed response are asked to continue to provide this format in addition to the shorter feedback form.
Thank you for your support, please pray that our Plan continues to help us bring about God’s will, and be assured of my prayers and gratitude for the gifts and generosity you bring to growing our faith so as to share Christ with our world.
